Cristal Robinson has a strong background in the financial and accounting sectors. Besides her law degree, she has an MBA with an emphasis in accounting and a finance degree. With over two decades in business, she has helped many businesses and non-profits to start, expand, or get back on track, as well as over a decade of helping people and businesses with disputes by negotiating, mediating, or collaborating. .
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Robinson owned American Real Estate Services, a real estate and mortgage company. She was the first real estate firm in the city to have a website in the mid-90's, which received many awards and gave her national exposure that led to being featured on the cover of the National Association of Realtors magazine at 24 years old and spoke to over 3000 people at the national convention. She used contact databases to organize the workflow of the real estate and mortgage process. When she became an attorney, she used technology to help promote her practice, work with clients, and implement processes into the practice of law.
Ms. Robinson understands the huge role that technology plays in the 21st century and takes advantage of it to connect and communicate with clients. She says the client shapes her mission of being committed, diligent, and responsive to their collaboration, mediation, or litigation needs, while using technology and personal service.
She is available by email, text message or Facebook, and her various websites. Her law firm website, www.cristalrobinson.com and her mediation website, www.stayoutofcourt.net, allows clients to complete the intake and all practice specific worksheets and questionnaires before and during the process allowing them to have control over their case. Her clients also have access to anything in their file through a secure portal on her website allowing them access to their case day or night along with secured communication with her legal team. Her vision is to provide the highest quality services by using technology along with personal service.
Technology helped her move her office to North Carolina while still practicing in Texas last summer. That experience along with her past activities of helping other attorneys use technology in their practice pushed her to open another business, Robinson Consultation. She will help solo and small firms use technology while learning how to use technology in the practice of law. That website, www.lawfirmtogo.com, has links to many programs to help attorneys along with ebooks, videos, and articles on how to use technology specifically for the practice of law.
